The "How to Dig" graphic from What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2
The Pickaxe (ツルハシ Tsuruhashi) is the tool used by the God of Destruction to destroy blocks. In No Heroes Allowed! VR, the Netherworld Exterminator Zupreme is used instead.
Appearances[]
[]
In the games What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?, What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord!? 2, No Heroes Allowed!, and Yūsha no Kuse ni Namaiki da. Soshite Keitai e..., the pickaxe is used to form a labyrinth in the Overlord's dungeon. It can only excavate blocks of soil that are adjacent to already excavated blocks, and there is a limit of how many times the God of Destruction can excavate, represented as the Dig Power (堀パワー, lit. "Moat/Ditch Power"). The Dig Power varies depending on the stage. When it reaches 0, the God will no longer be able to dig during the stage.
No Heroes Allowed![]

Using Dungeonquake in No Heroes Allowed! with The People's Pick
Several pickaxes became available in the game. The God of Destruction starts with The People's Pick, and other pickaxes are unlocked by collecting Dragon Orbs or having a save from the previous games.[1]

M-My Lord! There's hardly any information here! Aren't you going to fix it? The editor who added this tag elaborates: Pickaxe tier prices |

Tutorial image for the various pickaxe "grades".
Besides being used to excavate blocks, the pickaxe represents the number of times the God of Destruction can go on stages in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!. Each stage costs one pickaxe to be accessed, and the default total is three pickaxes. The pickaxes refill after some time, one pickaxe for every eight hours. Their max amount can be increased by purchasing better pickaxes on PlayStation Network, or by paying Potency, the most expensive granting infinite uses.
Pickaxe | Total | Potency Price |
---|---|---|
Free (FREE) | 3 | ? |
Shallow (あっさり, "simple" / "light") | 10 | ? |
Deep (しっかり, "steady") | 24 | ? |
Bottomless (どっぶり, "deeply submerged" / "addicted") | ∞ | ? |
Yūsha no Kuse ni Konamaiki da DASH![]
Like the previous game, the pickaxe represents the number of times the God of Destruction can enter stages. However, each stage requires a different amount of pickaxes, and the god's total amount of pickaxes increases by 5 every time their rank goes up. One pickaxe is recovered every five minutes. The pickaxe also changes its appearance after a number of levels, each pickaxe increasing the maximum amount and the amount recovered over time.[2]
Level | Pickaxe | Max. Amount | Recovery |
---|---|---|---|
1 | ザ・ツルハシ ("The Pickaxe") | 0 | 1 |
2 | ミズノ・ツルハシ ("Water Pickaxe") | +4 | 1 |
